Easy to get started

I grabbed the OptimizePress Landing Page Builder and it's been pretty smooth sailing. I needed to whip up a quick landing page for an ad campaign, and this got the job done fast. Building the page was simple, just clicked around and moved stuff. It looks good and I didn't have to stress about it too much. Thumbs up for sure.

Good value on yearly plan

I was looking for a funnel builder and saw OptimizePress. I compared it to a few others and decided to go with their annual plan for the Marketing Funnels feature, mainly because it worked out cheaper than monthly. I figured if I was going to use it for a while, the upfront cost was worth the savings. The suite plan offer I picked included OptimizeCheckouts, which saved me from having to get another tool for processing payments. Installation was smooth, and I've been setting up my first funnel. So far, it feels like I got a solid deal for what I paid, definitely worth the investment for my business.

Good for building pages

I bought the OptimizePress Page Builder a few weeks ago after checking out some demos. The ordering process was straightforward on their site, no hitches there. Download and installation were pretty quick for a WordPress plugin. I used it to build a new sales page for my latest product. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive, which was a big plus for me since I'm not a developer. I did have a small question about integrating a specific CRM, so I sent a support ticket. They got back to me in about 18 hours with a helpful answer, which is decent. The page loads fast and looks professional. Overall, I found it easy to use and it did exactly what I needed it to.

Decent tool, some small quirks

I purchased the OptimizeMentor for my online course. The setup process for the membership site builder was fairly smooth, although I did find a couple of the settings a bit buried in the dashboard. The integration with WordPress was mostly seamless, and my students found the course interface clean and easy to navigate. I appreciated the flexibility in designing the member areas. Delivery was instant since it's a digital product, of course. My only minor gripe was that some of the documentation felt a little outdated for a couple of specific features I tried to use, which meant a bit more trial and error than I'd hoped for. But overall, it's a solid platform for creating membership sites and good value for the features provided.

Can you actually use OptimizePress on more than one website? Or is it like a one-site-per-license kinda deal?

M Mark 2 months ago
It depends on the plan you pick. Some plans let you use it on multiple sites, others are single site. Check their pricing page, it breaks it down.

i think the 'suite' plan lets you use it on quite a few. i use it for my main site and a couple of side projects no problem.

I'm looking at OptimizePress primarily for membership sites. Is OptimizeMentor any good? Like, for actual course delivery and protecting content.

J June Doyle 2 months ago
OptimizeMentor is pretty solid for membership stuff. It integrates well with the rest of the platform, which is nice. You can drip content and create pretty robust courses. It's not as feature-rich as a dedicated membership plugin like MemberPress, but for a built-in solution, it's very capable.

I use it for my coaching program and it works fine. Students have an easy time navigating it. Handles digital product delivery too.

Hey guys, thinking of getting OptimizePress. Does anyone know if they do a Black Friday sale? Trying to time my purchase right.

J James 2 months ago
Oh for sure! They almost always have a Black Friday and Cyber Monday deal. I got my plan last year during that sale, it was a pretty good discount.

Yeah, I remember seeing one. Discounts are usually in the 20-40% range during those big sales. Definitely worth waiting if you can.

Does OptimizePress work with any WordPress theme? Or do I have to use their SmartTheme for everything to function properly?

M Mark S. 2 months ago
It generally works with most well-coded WordPress themes. You don't have to use SmartTheme specifically, but it's designed to play super nicely with it. I've used it with a couple of different themes and it was fine.

Nah, it should work with pretty much any theme. It's a plugin, so it adds functionality on top. You might run into minor styling conflicts with really weird themes, but usually, it's all good.

Thinking about getting OptimizePress but trying to decide between that and Elementor. Anyone used both and have thoughts on which is better for building landing pages quickly?

L Lisa 2 months ago
I've used both quite a bit. Elementor is super flexible for general WP stuff, but OptimizePress feels more purpose-built for actual marketing funnels and sales pages. Their templates are really good for that.

Yeah, I'd say if your main goal is landing pages and sales funnels, OptimizePress has a slight edge because that's literally what it's for. Elementor is more of a general page builder, though it can do landing pages too, obvs.
